Who said that great food has to cost the earth? Sri Lanka proves it wrong! This is the country where not only you will embark on a culinary journey of your lifetime, but also a place where eating out will cost you less than $5, while eating excessively. Don’t fight the temptation – take a break from mild food, book the flights to Sri Lanka, read my latest street food guide at Kat’s blog and enjoy the spice!

I want all of it! Especially the curry… I’m a sucker for a good one!
We love curry too. Take it all, but leave the curry for us ! ;-)
YUM! That is all I have to say on the matter.
I know Sarah, but I’m missing Chinese food a lot ;-(
I have to admit, in the past I always though Sri Lankan food was basically the same as Indian food, but apparently I was very wrong about that. I’ve been hearing so much about how good it is lately and I really want to try it now.
It’s not exactly the same, but pretty similar. You can still discover new flavours you would not discover in India.
Mmm! :D I’m all over the curries as well, though I hear they are a gazillion times spicier than Indian curries.
Yeah, spicy as hell :)
I have never been to Sri Lanka but this food looks amazing.
How about India? Sri Lankan food is great, super spicy :)
This all looks delicious! I could definitely go for a chocolate Roti though! xx
I had a chocolate Roti for breakfast almost every day ;-) So yummy!
Wow this food looks so delicious! Too bad, that I can’t go to Sri Lanka to just eat diner there :-)
Why can’t go? There is always a way to go there! :-) Make a plan for the next year :)
I’ve never experienced Sri Lankan food before but this all looks delicious. Reminds me of Burmese and Singaporean cuisines a bit.
I never tried neither Burmese nor Singaporean cuisine, but I can’t wait to do it !
Oh you forgot to mention ‘kothu’ the national dish of sri lanka

I might have even tried it, but didn’t know the name. Thanks a lot! xx
