My Favourite Healthy Lunch Spots In Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a great city for healthy eaters. It is packed with salad bars, smoothie bars and vegetarian and vegan restaurants. If you are planning to explore the city, but you are afraid your healthy diet will be destroyed by deep fried Dutch goodies – there is nothing to worry!

Favourite lunch spots in Amsterdam

SLA

Ceintuurbaan 149, 1072 GB | Westerstraat 34, 1015 MK, Amsterdam | Claude Debussylaan 35, 1082 MC | Open from Monday to Sunday 8:00 – 21:00.

SLA is a healthy salad bar that offers a great variety of salads, juices, soups and snacks. It is located at few different places across the city (see above). A bit overpriced, but you can definitely enjoy the food here. I like to make my own salad with all fresh ingredients that are available there. If I feel like having something small, I go for a homemade soup. Price: around 10 euro per salad.

Lite Dark

LITE/DARK Zeedijk 59A | LITE/DARK Utrechtsestraat 22 | open daily from around 8 am to 7 pm.

It’s a juice/chocolatebar that serves powerful organic energy shakes, organic powerballs and bars, salads and healthy cakes. I love indulging here in vitamins and antioxidants and getting energized. Prices: shakes for 4 euro, cakes costs between 2 and 4 euro.
