20 Reasons Why You Should Choose To Visit Crete This Summer

Crete is more like a small country than another Greek island. It welcomes every visitor with the remnants of brilliant civilizations, breath-taking mountainscapes, fertile valleys, steep gorges and glorious beaches.

These are excellent reasons to go to Crete, and they are all true! Next time I’m in Crete I’d like to visit the beaches of Preveli and Elafonissi.

Oh, that coffee looks fantastic! I’ve been wanting to visit Crete for years. So far, I’ve made it to Kos (which was great), but you’ve convinced me Crete is the place to go :)

So pretty! Crete looks amazing. I think I could probably live off of that greek salad and iced coffee. And the Venetian lagoon really does remind me of the docks and water off of Venice, especially the island of Murano!

I read a book once that was set in Greece and Crete especially. The way Crete was described made me want to go so bad (I have a travelers heart but have yet to do so) and looking at your photos, I cannot believe that the book and your pics are almost identical! I am SO going!!!
