Moving To Amsterdam: My Checklist

Moving to Amsterdam was a big change in my life – exciting, but also overwhelming. Suddenly, my while life changed.

I moved to another country, I got back to university, I started a new job, met enormous amount of people. Everything was new and time flew by fast. I tried to make my move to the city city as smooth as possible, so I created a checklist which I followed from day 1 in Amsterdam. You can also do the same to make sure nothing surprises you and you don’t miss anything important.

AMSTERDAM CHECKLIST:

#1 Apply for the course at the University

#2 Once the university is sorted out, search for the accommodation online

#3 Look for a job online

#4 Move to Amsterdam

#5 Register with your local embassy or consulate

#6 Arrange a bank account

#8 Arrange and collect residence permit

#10 Get connected: arrange TELECOM, Internet and utilities
