Postcards From Lisbon

Majestic monasteries, Gothic cathedrals and quaint museums – real delights of discovery lie in wandering the narrow lanes of Lisbon’s charming backstreets.

Before my travels through Poland this summer, I finally made it to beautiful Portugal. This time the food was not my main focus, but the scenery, landscape and narrow streets of Lisbon.

I felt so blessed being in Lisbon – Europe’s second-oldest capital and home to the world’s greatest explorers like Vasco da Gama.

Since I was a little girl, I wanted to stroll down the streets of Lisbon and capture the moments of local life.

I left my heart in Portugal as a whole. However, Lisbon was the most memorable city of the trip. I need to get back there as soon as possible.

I’ve only ever seen Lisbon from the air yet even then it looked very appealing.

You’ve posted some wonderful pictures which makes me even more curious. Thanks for sharing Agness.

I am currently thinking about where to go for my next trip (after NYC in October) and I can’t decide between Lisbon and Stockholm ;) Your photos definitely didn’t make it any easier for me to decide. Lisbon looks stunning.

Absolutely gorgeous! Lisbon looks so beautiful and inviting. It’s been at the top of my travel wish list and I got outvoted this year by my family who wanted to go to Italy instead. Thank you for the inspiration for now. Love those postcard shots hanging.
