The tent is super easy to put together and very straight forward. The case maybe 2 1/2’ long so much more compact than previous tents I have had. The only downfall if one could call it that is the zipper. It could be improved with a double zipper on the doorway as it is a bit tedious to pull the zipper all the way from and to the bottom, left corner. Overall, though, that is super minor and does not detract at all from this tent. I really enjoyed being able to stargaze the last time I brought it out. I also was impressed with the velcro on the section where you can feed an extension cord through so that you can mitigate as much as possible water or creepy crawlies getting in.
I would definitely recommend this tent for anyone looking for more space and a less claustrophobic experience. It’s definitely nice to have room to place all.the.stuff one might bring and want out of the elements. While this tent does go up faster with help, I was able to put it up all by myself within half an hour the first time (not looking at the directions) and probably closer to ten to fifteen minutes the other two times I have put it up. It also withstood several kids coming and going so that says something to its durability, too. And the first time I took it out, there were torrential downpours. Several of my family member’s tents leaked, and some leaked quite a bit. This one stayed completely dry inside!

We also caught a pretty good rainstorm during our trip. A 10 minute downpour from a storm that was just under severe limits due to wind (no hail). Tent held up pretty good. It shook a lot, but we never got wet and the tent wasn't damaged. The last tent we had in the exact same spot, the wind pulled up some the stakes and the tent collapsed.
However, it's not a perfect tent (then again, short of spending $500+, what is?). It has five zippered windows - two in the front straddling the door, two on the sides, and the one on the door itself. Better windflow would have had one in the back instead of the two extra in the front, especially if you have the privacy screen up - then the wind just comes in and swirls around. Also, it doesn't have a "porch" where you can remove your shoes before entering - we either had to step in and remove our shoes or remove them outside and risk dirty feet/socks. Lastly, it will take you longer to get the tent back in that tiny carrying case than it is to assemble and disassemble it. We just went to walmart and bought a small duffle bag and put the tent and all accessories in it for storage.
Overall, a pretty good tent. Would definitely recommend for at the very least casual camping.
1. The entire roof is a screen. If you utilize the rain fly, and the temps are lower, there is a potential for condensation to form overnight from your breath and you may get dripped on the next morning as things warm up.
For that reason, I would call this a 2 season tent that does better in dry weather.
2. The fabric around the zipper, and the zipper itself, needs to break in a bit to make things move smoothly. Some zipper grease is helpful. Add some Paracord to make a longer zipper pull.
4. Only one door. Not a big deal BUT that single door also only has one zipper. It should have 2. Not a deal breaker but less than ideal.
4. A 9x15 tarp makes a perfect footprint for this tent.
5. Don’t expect to get it back in the original bag, unless you’re a magician.
6. My gut tells me that this tent will not do well in heavy winds. The poles are fiberglass, the configuration of them on the tent, and the tent size will snap the poles, shred the tent, or both.
If your summer camping and rain isn’t in the forecast I think this is a great tent. Cooler weather, or rain? There might be better options out there (due to condensation, the amount of screen, and zipper).
All that being said: Hard to argue with the price and it performed admirably for the 4 day trip we used it on.

Only complaint is no windows on the back and the flaps to protect the door zipper sucks
