These are very good binoculars. I was impressed that they are so clear and bright. We were able to see quite a distance away very clear on our cruise. I do this these are good quality and value for the money. Comes in a nice little case

Solid quality binoculars. Easy to use and the magnification is crystal clear. Glad I got the eight times magnification as the 10 probably would have made things a little more jittery.

I am just starting birding and this class of binoculars was suggested by an experienced neighbour......good enough to enjoy the pass time without spending enormously. I tried out a few brands and models in the under $200 range and found these to be quite good....echoing the views of professional reviewers.
I missed the Holiday period as these were sold out, but ordered them in early January. They were delivered in 2 days by standard shipping an were very competitively priced. My initial impressions are very positive....clear and bright, easy to focus, fairly light and comfortable in the hands. While neither the focus, nor the diopter adjustments lock, they seem to hold their positions.
I like the lens covers on both ends, although the "pros" advise I may not use them much in practice. Looks like a great start to bird watching.
Update 2024. Still using these binoculars after 7 years. As a casual, but regular birder, they are all I need. I highly recommend these for those starting to bird. Sure you can pay many times this price, but for most these are sufficient.

Amazing binocular! I got into bird watching to spend time outdoors during the pandemic. Did some research and found this 8x42 as a second hand Amazon approved for a great price. The build of it is sturdy and feels firm when holding it. The glass is amazing, super clear and in low light situation works well. Sharp bird images and great colours. This is my first binocular and I’m happy with it. I believe its a great affordable gadget to start with. Comes with a front and back lens coverings and a pouch.

I wear glasses and have far more experience with rifle scopes. That being said what little bird watching i have done along with squirrels and other botanical looking about it seems to have a pretty darn clear sight picture with spot on focus and fairly good color. You can spend more for some ED glass. However i am on a budget & if i am shelling out $$$ for ED optics it is going to be for a camera lens as 8 of 10 times i will be switching to a camera & i do not hunt or even target shoot any more so binoculars are what i am carrying with my camera. I have owned just a few cheap binoculars and used a few others and these seem to be the best i have used in this size class and yes some lower power with VERY close focus and better glass.
Everything is a cost and quality compromise & i would say these are a very solid choice for serious nature watching and even come close to being pretty good for looking at the moon, but that's what my 15x70 are for. I am a big person though and the weight is no issue though for some people who plan on all day use a less heavy set of binoculars or better glass if these are more integral to your plans for them. For me though i like the power and eye relief & seemingly rugged construction and the light transmission seems quite good as well as i have not noticed many serious light issues and without going into much boring detail i have used some rifle scopes & binoculars that are much worse as well as camera lenses though most of those are far better and cost much more. Bottom line you might get lucky with some more obscure brand and find a better buy, but i have found like with everything else you should do your own research. Or you can just take the recommendation of bird watchers who say these are good and just buy these and see if they are what you want. The reason you have so many choices is that preferences in optics can be quite individual. So whatever you choose i wish you sucess in finding what is best suited to your needs.

Perfect Size and Amazing Clarity

Bought two pairs for an upcoming safari. Tried some compact versions as well, but these are far and away better if you are okay with the medium size. These focus easily, have eye relief adjustment and are chrystal clear even in low light. Can’t wait to use them in Africa.

Estaba buscando unos binoculares nuevos que no fueran tan costosos ya que los anteriores tenían muchos años conmigo y eran muy pesados, estos binoculares son muy livianos y tienen una gran luminosidad en comparación con los anteriores.

Nice Binoculars at a reasonable price
Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2021Style: 8x32Verified Purchase
These 8x32 are a nice choice in that price range. Fairly compact and light with a good optical view. I own two of the Celestron Nature DX binoculars along with two Vortex Diamondback HD models in higher magnifications that I use on a tripod. The difference in the Diamondbacks is the construction material that can handle a little more abuse and the lifetime warranty. But of course you're paying more for those. The optics are very similar.
If the Celestron Nature DX models fit your price range you can't really go wrong with them. They would serve you well on most excursions. The 8x42 version is slightly bigger and slightly brighter. In low light that could be helpful but in most daytime situations 8x32 is certainly bright enough. I've used both extensively.
For most people 8x is really a sweet spot. Good magnification but still easy to hold steady by hand. It's why they're so popular. As you move to higher magnifications the gradual increase in noticeable hand shake can actually make the view less enjoyable.
