Photo of the Day: Cable Car in Chongqing

Cable car in Chongqing running across Yangtze river

Unusual way to commute in a modern city? That’s a cable car operating in Chongqing, one of the biggest metropolis in China. It gives urban sightseeing a new description. With four enormous bridges around, few in construction and plentiful of ferries, it’s still worth a go. It will cost you only RMB 5 and take few minutes (not counting the wait). On the other side (when you come from the city centre), you’ll find a great panorama of Chongqing, which looks like New York at night, but that’s for another “photo of the day”.

I’m always positive and never bored – there’s just so much more to see and experience! I began my journey around the world in 2011 with just $400 and one-way ticket to Asia. Still going and blogging today. You can typically spot me working on a laptop or rock climbing.
