Photo of the Day: Tian Tan Buddha Statue at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, Hong Kong

This statue is the world’s largest Buddha statue (34 metres tall and its weight is 250 tonnes) and it’s very modern (constructed in 1993). The Tian Tan Buddha is located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island in Hong Kong. In order to see it, you can either take a ferry (slow or fast one) or cable cars.
