Photo of the Day: Leshan Giant Buddha

IMG 00701

The Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest carved statue of Buddha in the world, is located in Sichuan province in China. Believe us or not but it is 71 metres tall, his shoulders are 28 metres wide and his smallest toenail is large enough to easily accommodate a seated person! Moreover, it wasn’t affected even by the earthquake in 2008.
